I had a dream earlier about being in a car driving my way back home. I think based on the settings, it was around 5-7pm here in the Philippine time. As I stare into the sky on that time setting, I saw the clouds get dark and covering the entire space but what took my attention is that either the moon or the sun was before the clouds and was partly covered by another set of clouds. Suddenly, the sphere fading light (sun or moon) disappeared and a ring of radiation emitted probably by something gigantic like the sun in the sky (multi colored giant ring) was whats left and in a matter of seconds, everything went dark as I heard heavy explosion but did not see any exploding fire like usual explosion occurs. I screamed "Lord!" and then I woke up and it as a dream. I am just now passing by wanting to know a glimpse or meaning of a such apocalyptic dream. PS: I've not watched series or movies for few months now regarding planetary destruction.
Dreams about apocalyptic scenarios can often symbolize feelings of fear, uncertainty, or the need for major change in your life. In this dream, being in a car driving your way back home could represent a journey or transition you are currently experiencing in waking life. The dark clouds covering the sky and the sun or moon being partly hidden by other clouds may indicate confusion or obstacles on your path.
The sudden disappearance of the sun or moon and the emergence of a multi-colored giant ring of radiation can represent a sudden and significant change or event that disrupts your sense of stability. The heavy explosion you heard without seeing any fire could reflect inner turmoil or pent-up emotions that are ready to be released.
Your instinctive reaction to scream "Lord!" suggests a desire for guidance, protection, or help in the face of a threat or overwhelming situation in your waking life. It may be a subconscious call for spiritual or emotional support during challenging times.
Overall, this dream may be a reflection of underlying fears, anxieties, or a need to address certain aspects of your life that feel out of control. It could be beneficial to reflect on your current circumstances and emotions to understand what may be triggering these unsettling dreams. Engaging in self-care practices, seeking support from loved ones, or exploring deeper emotions and fears with a therapist may help you navigate through any underlying issues that are surfacing in your dreams.
